MUCH ADO ABOUT A RED SHOE********

    Red Shoe facts.
     The photos were taken on January 1 before returning her to her home. Yes, the photo was taken sans stockings as we had changed into more practical and comfortable clothing and I did not want to do the photo with leggings. The shoes are sexy and were appropriate for a night out of fine dining in an upscale restaurant. The place does focus on local people of inflated self-importance, serving very many manicured female heads of silver or gray tints and the super abundance of men’s’ blue blazers with regimental stripped neckties.
     Katherine you as usual are totally correct. I never would wear those shoes while I was with a woman. I wouldn’t want to inflame her primitive instincts. LOL. Besides I do not walk to well in high heel shoes.
     As far as being turned on or not it doesn’t happen due to any particular item of clothing or lack thereof. I do respond to the confidence and self-assurance of a party who knows that they are looking good in my eyes and those of anyone else who matters to them. After all at my age the gland that is critically important to stimulation is my eyes.

What a great entry! RYN: I look forward to those credit card calls now. It is a game to see how long I can string them on. They really get mad if you ask to speak to Rachel. Just keep them going and when they ask for information just say, “Well, you have all my information there, read me off the numbers and I’ll let you know if they are right!” Or just ask “How much is this going to cost, I know you can’t do this service for free!” That alone gets them going in circles! The more they think you owe the harder they will work….I sometimes say I have three or four maxed out cards due to my cats being sick and charging vet bills…. have fun!!!

Well said. You are so much nicer than I. I would have told all the critics to sit on that spiked heel and spin. I’m guessing Doris looked hot 🙂

ryn: the instant i see a moving glacier, i’ll let you know i’m on the way down to your place! it has been really cold lately. this morning it was 1 degree on my back porch. it got up to about 20 there. my car got me to 17. the weathermen are saying it’s gonna be cold again in the morning but be up in the 20’s for a high. and the days will just get warmer and warmer til it’s in the 40’s by the weekend. and maybe thru tuesday. i could use some melting. the driveway was a sheet of ice and i couldn’t get to angela’s til i threw some sand and made myself a path to her door. take care,

Oh well, now that I know that the shoes “were appropriate for a night out of fine dining in an upscale restaurant which does focus on local people of inflated self-importance,” I am so impressed that I have changed my mind about the shoes. LOL. Seriously, I regretted leaving the original note but not soon enough to delete it. Your reply to me in this entry was clever but Sugar M’s note hurt my feelings. I’m still laughing over this hoopla over the shoes! Stockings vs. no stockings, heels vs. no heels, straps vs. no straps…women’s footwear is a complicated, divisive topic! And we ladies are full of opinions 🙂 (For the record, I hate shoe shopping at least as much as I hate swimsuit shopping!) If Doris can rock a pair of shoes like that, more power to her. It’s all about feeling confident and sexy.
