Miracles for the seeking

Today was a really strange day. After Church and shopping it started to snow. Big white flakes that came down for about 30 minutes. I think God wanted to capture my attention and succeeded. I listened and watched closely for the rest of the day. This evening I found out what I was to hear. I attended a Meeting in town that I go to weekly. There a women celebrated fifty years of not drinking one day at a time. What a message for those of us who sat there spellbound. This lady had suffered a stroke three years ago and is in a wheelchair and spoke with a minor impediment. The meeting is in a gymnasium, the acoustics are dreadful and yet you could have heard a pin drop. If we only open our eyes and our ears we will find the evidence around us that there are miracles present just about everywhere we go. We only have to look. I find the miracles in the sunrise and in the sunset. There are miracles in the arms and hearts of my grand children and in the generation I missed; my children. I have met some of the most amazing people you can imagine and am privileged to call them friend. Friday evening I was at the bottom of this Roller Coaster we call life and two nights later I am on an emotional high. I am riding a pink cloud tonight with a V 8 engine and dual exhausts. If you want to come along for the ride hop in and fasten your seat belt.

Thank you Lord for giving me what you determined, not what I deserve.

Miricles are those things that happen and which we happen to notice. I’m glad you noticed one, not that many of us do. CharlieBrown
