LOOKING FOR A NEW APARTMENT

At the urging of my son Robert, who is being urged by his wife the lovely RN Margaret, I have started looking for a new place to live.

With passive resistance.

Their objections are that it is too far away from their house in case of Health Problems. Entrance stairs are a steep 14. Shower is in the tub with high step to enter. Groceries are difficult.

My feelings are that while the complex is old it is well maintained, problems are addressed immediately. My lease ends 12/31/17. My Primary is 2 blocks away and my Cardiologist is one mile out. My office is 5 miles awayand my Favorite AA Meetings are all less that 5 miles from here.

I have settled in, made friends, and have no desire to move.

So There.

Today will be a stormy day with high rains and wind. I think that I will concentrate on my Fantasy football team and hopefully raise my record to 500%

Seems a shame to uproot you from somewhere that you’re happy living but, they also seem to have valid points on their side. Good luck with the apartment hunt.

Sounds like you have perfectly good reasons to stay put!

Perhaps Margaret isn’t so lovely on the inside.

Hum. None of my business of course. But it seems to me that your current level of happiness should outweigh the prospect of future imagined difficulties. I know that this is very ‘live for today’ but I’m much more grasshopper than Ant. Yes, I know this could be seen as a failing.
