SO EXCITED THAT WE WILL HAVE ALL OF OUR KIDS (incl the one spouse) WITH US PLUS MY MOM WHO IS SO COOL AND AWESOME…

FirstBorn: Hey what condo are you looking at getting? just out of curiosity

Me: Still not certain… CN aka “Nay” and Grammy are now definites, and some of the McNamaras are still considering. This means we will invite Grandmother for the first time tomorrow.

Grandpa is a no-answer. Dad talked to him tonight and found out that he is having trouble getting a passport. Apparently he did try to get a passport before that fated cruise with JoAnn {part of the breakup scoop HA! mentioned in my last entry}, but the next thing he knew after he applied, the US returned his birth certificate with a letter stating “since we have not heard back from you, we are closing your file.” (He needs a secretary, I swear!) His birth certificate has no birth DAY (only a month and year) and also was never registered with the state of Texas. He did not mention what I noticed years ago the one time I got a glimpse of it which is that his first name is misspelled…

Dad & I went to the Houston boat show on Saturday and climbed in and out of some sail boats that cost more than twice as much as our house!
