I need to make this short, as I have to get to bed to be ready to drive tomorrow. Go ‘Stros!!!! Most combined Home Runs in a World Series game ever. First back-to-back homers in one game! A ball fielded by the rim of a hat, another one fielded by the body of an umpire. Astros/Dodgers series most competitive in many years. Yea for tonight’s win in the 11th inning!

Picking Mom up halfway between Dallas and Houston tomorrow to get her down here for my annual Ladies’ Scary Movie Night. Both my sister and my daughter cannot attend, but each is willing to drive half of the distance to keep Mom invited. Mom and I LOVE Halloween.

Mom has been moved to a retirement facility at mine and my sister’s insistence after we discovered that she was no longer taking care of herself, her home, or her pets. It was awful. Now we are all in a good place, and I get to spoil my dementia-Mom for a few days here in my home. Happy happy happy!
