Family Game Night

We are all game players (and also enjoy playing games). It has been interesting to watch how this evolves over generations. Exactly two weeks ago, my daughter and family moved from Albuquerque to Dallas, bringing them a car-ride rather than a plane-ride-car-rental-dog-kennel closer to us!  Hubby and I were invited to stay with daughter (on only her 6th night in her new home) on Thanksgiving, in the Dallas area where Hubby and I grew up, and most of our family still hangs out.

We got to play games with my sister, her daughter, her daughter’s husband (not shown due to camera angle, and also getting kicked out of the game first), my mom (dementia, so who knows what her game play was), my husband, both of my daughters, and one of my sons-in-law.  Four-year-old granddaughter squeaked her way into the grown-up party, and I got my daughter to allow it as long as granddaughter promised not to talk at all or touch any game pieces.  So very fun!

In my opinion, moments like these make up the best things in life.
