blah, blah, whine, smile, cry…

I wrote a whole entry tonight, and I can’t believe I didn’t save it, as a usually do! Knowing as I do that the OD is unstable at present!

Here is the not-as-good-but-short-version:

We have had soccer tournaments every weekend. (Youngest)

MiddleSon got a competitive spot in the high school marching band this year.(yea)

FB is getting to play a little college soccer, and is being helped by her former high school buddy (freshman) now on the team.

Hubby had reparative knee surgery last Wednesday.

I wrote a really REALLY good personal entry about that tonight…. as it has caused me to not get a decent night’s sleep since it occurred, and that is a whole week ago… surgery, doctor as patient, etc…

I also talked frustration at my volunteer job

(it was a beautiful entry, you should have seen it)

and then I told about my neighbor who died tonight (well, yesterday, probably) in her home… about how our older neighborhood may not have those cool pampered-chef or bunko parties like those neighborhoods where everyone all moved in at the same time, but that tonight, as we discovered our loss, and pooled our resources (unsuccessfully) trying to reach the actual relative of Miss D …(that would be her grown grandson, living an hour away)…, as we were held off the property that we had identified as in need of help, but we were not allowed (by the police) inside to get the address book to contact her grandson “J” whom we all knew… about how yet somehow we were the richer afterall, waiting with the blue lights flashing, sharing stories about Miss D….
