Saw Avatar with my husband and 3 of the children we count as our current 5, which was a mixed group who were not all in favor of seeing this movie. ALL of us enjoyed it immensely. Ha ha ha to me! We saw it with the 3D glasses, but not the XTREME 3d – whatever that means. Still, it was my first 3D movie since Disney World over 10 years ago. It took me 20 minutes at least to stop watching the glasses and relax and adjust. But once I did, I totally bought into the whole fantasy! I observed the computer-generated hand of the girl painting the yellow paint onto the computer-generated face of the guy and I sighed and thought “Wow! Look at the gentle touch of that actress to be able to paint in such straight lines!” And then later, I thought, oh, but no…

Hah! I loved it too, even though I was “meh” about it before I got there. Also was very impressed with the 3D.

i want to see that but doubt i’ll go to the theater to see it. will probably wait to see it on dvd or pay per view. take care,
