My hands are like ice.

  • We find our Rocky in the bedroom that is not his own.  A man named Will sleeps in the bed near a computer, owned by Will.
  • I finally saw him today when I went home to shop for Christmas, as well as welcome home L2 who was returning to the Eastern side of the country.  now he naps.  Who knows what adventures await?
  • An answer to questions from Greenie:
    1. "What was the best moment of this past year?"  I am hesitant to answer this, seeing as how the year is not, as of yet, through.  I hope that the best moment of the year will occur in the forthcoming weeks, but If I had to choose one, I would have to choose a tie.
    a. In February, Wil and I drove to Clarion to see the band Lola Ray, my current favorite band which I have been ranting about for months.  We got to hang out, talk, and I asked the lead singer about where a bunch of songs came from: what was the intent behind them.  He willingly talked to me, sang me parts of songs I didn’t understand, and gave me information about my favorite song by them which I did not ask for.
    b. In November, a week before my birthday, I decided to take a nine hour to see beloved band Lola Ray.  I planned to stay for two days, and take a bus back.  I had no place to stay, but I went anyways with a bag and a will, alone in my travels to see a band.  I was there when they arrived, and I talked with them about new music, new bands, and new arrivials.  I got to hang out with them during sound check, and the lead singer gave me a birthday beer.  I was stoked to see them, and the opening bands were amazing as well.  They knew who I was (at least the English Department did) and talked highly of my efforts to see some rock.  I ended up not finding a place to sleep, but exchanging my ticket to travel a night early.  A CD was purchaced with 2 tracks never before released, and I got a tee shirt for free.
  • 2. "What do you want for Christmas?" A time stopper, so I can prolong moments and waste as much or as little time I need.  More realistic?  An espresso machine and a digital video camera to make music videos with.  I also have written out a screenplay for a simple movie I would like to create.
  • 3. "Can we go to Denny’s for old times sake?" of course.  I would love to, and as I told you on the phone today, the plans are in the works.

Until next time, dear friends.  Now I need a smoke and some coffee.
