Hopefully I am still on all of your lists. I’ve decided to begin writing again. I missed it terribly, and now I have much to write about, much to talk about, and not many people to share with.
So I’m coming back to you. I know that’s kind of a shitty thing to do… spurn you off for a while and come back when I need you… I’ve been on the recieving end many times (including current situations) and I can say I don’t like it much.
But I do know that when these people closest to me spurn me off, I will always be there to make them feel like shit for doing it and to listen to their arguments and complaints with life.
So let me light a cigarette, and I’ll tell you all who I am now.
I terminated this diary because I felt like a different person. Now that I have evolved, I feel like I need this space for writing more than ever. My other name which I kept for a brief period of time, Rocky Rocky Rocky, just did not cut it. It didn’t feel right.
So I will update this one, and as long as you keep me in check, I will update once a week minimun.
I know we haven’t talked for a long time, my friend, but I am willing to correct that mistake. I should have never deleted you, and if any of you want a copy of what my diary was, I will be more than happy to oblige.
I guess I should give you a brief rundown of a year in the life of Rocky.
When you last saw me, I was in love with a straight guy named Will. He had feelings for a girl I introducted to him, a friend of mine named SpK. Will and I spent the summer waxing politics, music, movies, media in general, then-present situations, and what he should do about this girl whom had a boyfriend and he had feelings for: feelings that he told me haden’t occured since his last ex-girlfriend, which ended horribly.
I lost about twenty pounds and shrunk one and a half sizes. None of my jeans fit, none of my jackets fit, none of my shirts fit. I can wear my roomate’s jeans. I got a job at Panera, which is a store to buy bread and pastries. I make sandwiches, take orders, clean dishes, maintain the dining room, and serve in the bakery. I have been keeping a myspace blog, mainly consisting of songs which described my mood at the time. If you are on, my 2 characters are ThatRockyGuy and Interabang. Whisper to me and I’ll say hi.
Since school started, I have been having a hard time maintaining friendships, sadly, with the ones I cared most about, specificaly Will and SpK. SpK dumped her boyfriend and began dating Will, much to Will’s delight. Since then, the times I have to see Will, now the manager of Journey’s near my hometown shopping mall, have been short and mostly of when we will see each other again. I haven’t talked to him for about a week today. Two or Three nights ago I told SpK that she was being a bad friend, because I haven’t seen her either. I’m tired of being pushed aside and taken for granted as a friend, and I don’t want to be taken advantatge of again. I’m getting too old, I’m not the old me.
I turned 21, which is an exciting time, but I have had little time to go out between work and school. I actually just got off work and am pretty exhausted, so I am going to cut this entry short.
In closing, to help me get into a rhythm, I am going to give the opportunity to ask me anything. Absolutely anything about anything going on in my life, and I will answer.
