I need a jump start

All righty. Here’s the deal. Give me an opening sentence to work with and I’ll see what kind of mini/shortshort I can come up with. My brain is stalled over here. Anybody. You, for instance. Yes, you, sitting there right now reading this. Give me an opening line, but it has to be a complete sentence. Or most of one.

All set? Good. I’ll tackle as many as I can. Check back to see what I’ve come up with.

And to clarify my meaning–I’m not looking for anything related to the story. I want something completely fresh, unrelated, different. “The avalanche thundered down the mountainside, sweeping the cabin off its foundations.”

Im no writer, but will have a go as this first note 😉 “Del awoke with a thumping hangover after spendig the whole night in the pub discussing the plans for this new game. He was to take on the role of a master wizard.” There two sentences! i hope you pay well for this 🙂

Heart beating wildly she sat bolt upright in bed gasping for air, her hands at her throat. How’s that? There’s some good suggestions here. I can’t wait to read what you come up with. *beaming you an encouraging smile*
