Possible Date with Ed …

Last night Ed and I talked for about 20 minutes or so. Needless to say he brought up the fact that he wants to go on a date in November, Thursday night at 7:30 pm in Atlanta for a concert of sorts. I told him I wasn’t sure because I have to work that day and I have class the next day at 9 am. I have an open invite to spend the night at his place and then come back home on that Friday. I’m not sure whether or not it would be worth it in the end. 

A brief glimpse at what was said on the topic of listening …

Ed: All these years, you’ve helped me out so much 
Ed: you’ve listened to me complain and rant and i never sent you any flowers or a card for that matter…

It’s a sweet thought, but a friend should listen. Listening is one of those very important skills that some individuals overlook. Just communicating is not enough, but truly listening to one another can play an important role in relationships of all sorts.

I can’t remember what else I was going to write about. Dang. 

Side note: I am so not studying like I need to. Blah. I need a good weekend of hanging out and such! You know when you’ve studied a lot when patrons ask a simple question and you go into detail about things. Lol.
