Getting the priorities right.

I have in my possession the most important thing for firstflat. It’s my first flatwarming present (probably the only one).

Is it a bottle of washing up liquid? A doormat? A set of towels? Perhaps some spices, or some kind of implement for the kitchen?

But no. My sister has just bought me a glitterball.
I think Jack will be pleased. Particularly when I decide to buy a motor for it with the money put aside for the first week’s food. But hell, he’ll understand. It is, after all, a glitterball. The most important thing in the world to have hanging up in our new hall at head-bashing height.

I think he’ll be delighted to hear that I’ve got my priorities so completely in order.

Well even though it’ll have to be pot-luck, you’ll still have the best parties around!
