Hello out there in diary land!!

So I have spent my morning talking to friends. I got one hit on my penpal diary…a 42 year old woman from Italy. She seems very particular, but nice. lol Let me paste her intro letter in here…it amused me a little bit..
 
Hello there!! I was wondering if you would like to be my penpal and to swap
stuff we collect??? I gotta tell you by the way, that I only want to write via
snail mail, as I totally hate e-mail, so I will use it only for first contacts
or very urgent messages!! I like to have the letters in my hands!! But let me
tell you something about myself now, my name is Cinzia but everybody calls me
Cindy, I’m from Italy, I’m 37 years old (but will be 18 ’til I die!!), married
since 1993. No children and I dont’ want any cause I don’t like kids. I don’t
mind if my pals have kids, as long as they also talk about something else, not
ONLY about children, if you know what I mean!
I love music (Duran Duran, Skid Row, Poison, Bon Jovi, Shania Twain, Ligabue,
David Bowie, Goo Goo Dolls, Whitesnake, The Ark and tons more!!), watching
sports esp ski (Marc Girardelli is my GOD!!) and tennis, but also figure
skating, F1, athletics etc,
movies (Val Kilmer, Lorenzo Lamas, Marilyn Monroe, Heather Locklear), reading
(Jackie Collins, Danielle Steel, Marion Zimmer Bradley….), collecting various
kinds of stuff
(rubberstamps, stuff on my idols, full tea bags, postcards, earrings, and lots
more),
letters, FBs, Tv (Renegade, Buffy, Angel, Queer As Folk…), travelling, Usa,
Barbie dolls, Tweety, artistic crafts (decoupage, stencil,ceramic
arts,jewellery, greeting cards creation, candles and soap making…) and lots
more. Well, I think this gives you an idea of who I am, of course I will tell
you more in my first letter, if you’ll decide to write back!!
I also have a penpals traders magazine, in case you’d like to be in it, just

advertisement whenever you want, and tell this also to your pals, as I print all

So what you guys think?? She sounds interesting, and I am definitely going to go ahead and try to get  some writing done. I haven’t contacted her yet though, cuz I want to have the time to formulate an intelligent response, and you all know I can’t do any thought provoking writing here at work!! LOL
 
I just found out that my EDI guy is quitting…his last day is the 18th. God everyone is leaving…and they are not replacing a bunch of the people going….so sad cuz I liked Keith. And not just personally…professionally…he made my job reguarding EDI soooo much easier. Like seriously…he knew his shit….if I needed a report built…he could build it in minutes for me. Cuz with EDI we deal in all the raw data…..so if we need to pull alot of info quickly, we have to search through piles and piles of raw data…but Keith is a WIZARD at EDI and could formulate reports to do all the heavy lifting for me lol
 
In more sad news…I found out yesterday that a girl Jaime and I both knew died the other day. This girl Nikki came over a few months ago with her young son with a cake for jaime to decorate for his birthday. The girl was a terrible mother, but I kinda liked her. She had a gf Rosi…well she was driving a car with her gf and another guy from wal-mart, and tried to go around a train or something got hit and all dead. What is gonna happen to that poor sweet little boy…he was such a cutie…like seriously….such a gooood boy. Jaime and I were both like "We’ll take him in a heartbeat" I just hope there is some family left, for him.
 
Now in happier news, Alex is coming home in August for his brothers wedding, so yay!!!! I am very excited to be able to see him again. I’ve missed him tons. We talked the other day, for like a few hours. It was sooo nice to talk o him. Work has been slow, but he worked on the season finale of Nip/Tuck, which is one of my favorite shows EVER!!! Gah, that also means that I will need to get cable as soon as i move, so i can watch it. LOL I move sept 1st, and it starts sometime in september. GAH!! I don’t wanna pay cable prices. I might have to do a get together for Alex…it will be soo nice to see him, absence sure does make the heart grow fonder lmao
 
So Daren called me late last night, like 11:30….we talked for an hour or so….he said that when I move, we will only be 15 mins apart, so yaaaaay…he said they will visit me, and i can visit them, and I will have TWO local friends. WOOOT!! 🙂 He wants me to take their daughter for the weekend, and work on sleep and potty training with her. They are so beyond frustrated with the whole sleep thing….she WILL NOT sleep for them. Now when I watched her, the night I sent them to the store….she went right down, and passed out cold for me.Like seriously, the sleep of the dead….I got both kids down easily….so we shall see. It may be simple, it may be difficult, but I am surely up for the challenge. That shit is FUN for me!!! LOL Its like a puzzle…how can I crack her….lmao She is a suuuper stubborn little girl, and also quite headstrong…lol But thats how I like em…she is a redhead thru and thru!!!! And we all know I LOVE me some redheads!! Its that fiery personality….LOVE IT!!!

So last night, my friend Eric contacted me. He and I used to be good friends years ago, when my yahoo group NWINDIANA Hangout was still active (nobody ever posts there anymore) and then we joined a ghost hunting group together, which was run by another member of my group….we used to do alot of paranormal investigations, and even just hung out. I loved his family and his friends, and we used to all have alot of fun together. Well he contacted me yesterday, and told me about this place in illinois he found. He hasn’t investigated it yet, but he heard that its a serious paranormal hot spot. He wanted me to come investigate it with him. Can ya say HELL YEAH!!! I told him most definitely, count me in….he was telling me about some of the equiptment he has gotten….and how he wants to replace some of his old stuff. I told him about how I lost my EMF reader, and I need a new one…and how I got a great new pendulum….highly charged….had it about a year now…it still needs more training, but I haven’t gotten to go out and test it lately. My camera is perfect for ghost hunting at night, as I can easily turn off flash….woooot….I am sooo ready….seriously….sooooo ready. I haven’t been ghost hunting since October. And that was with an organized group…took a tour with  IGT..(I was once a member of this organization, til they got so freaking commercialized it pissed me off) So anyway, this place is a former insane aslylum…an old one…back in the day of electroshock therepy, and flogging, and chains and all that fun stuff. I have heard stories of electric chairs int he basement and shackles!! Hell the old asylum in CP has shackles in the basement. That place is wicked cool, tho impossible to get into anymore.
 
Allison was just telling me about her friend who is R Kelley’s housekeeper!! $25 an hour, for 4 hours of work each day!!!! She makes the same daily money as I do, with half the hours!!! GRRRR!!!! I want, I want!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Ok, I am gonna earn my paycheck now…..see ya on the flip side!!
