Loved this: “Or you can do what she’d want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.” People forget that those who truly love us would not want us in perpetual mourning. Moving forward does not mean you are rejecting what was, rather it is respect and tribute to go on and live well, carrying what you cherished in your heart and in your actions. Nice piece. 🙂
