Limbs
Boy, do I hate shaving. I have yet to find a way for it not to suck. I’ve tried a lot of different types of razors, and none of them give me the "clean, close shave" they promise. What they give me is a "feels like fucking sandpaper being dragged across my face" shave. I always bleed from little spots that you really couldn’t call cuts, but they bleed just the same. Oh, and certain areas are way tougher than others for some reason. The hair just under my chin, to either side of my goatee are real bastards. I pull the blad across, and sometimes nothing happens at all. It just refuses to be cut. Actually, I think the goatee was born almost as much of a desire to not have to shave my chin anymore as a desire to change my look. So as a result of how much I hate shaving, I only do so about every week or ten days. I’ve experimented with it, and believe me, it’s no easier after a day or two than after seven. It simply can’t not suck. Aren’t double negatives fun?
I’ve been really bored lately, and I think I’ve pinpointed it. I think I’m jonesing to create something. But I’m at a loss. I don’t even care what medium I use– drawing, painting (watercolor or acrylic), woodburning, fucking Photoshop, anything, but I got nothing. For whatever reason, I’m dead-set against copying anything. I’ve done some stuff I’m really fond of that are nothing more than shameless rip-offs, and I don’t want to do that. And when it comes right down to it, I’ve done very few things that I came up with entirely. Everything either came from something an art teacher set up (like a still-life or a location) or else was just a drawing of a drawing. I have no problem doing or having done those things, I just don’t want to do it this time… unless I can find something flat-out awesome. I dunno, maybe I just need a muse or something.
This idea came out of no where, so be warned. You could make animals that normally aren’t assholes into assholes. And visa versa. Like, draw a bunny rabbit attacking a fox. Or an antelope gulping down a lion. No, actually, that’s a terrible idea. Don’t listen to me.

ryn: The link worked, but I didn’t know what it was. *Gets it now.* And yeah, I noticed Mario and Wall-E were on that list, which I thought kind of strange.
