The Man I am Now

You will get out of that wheelchair. You’re going to learn how to walk and walk on your own. You’re going to play baseball and go outside and play with other kids. You can do anything that you really want to. There are going to be enough people you meet in life that are going to tell you you can’t do things. The only things you can’t do are what you believe you can’t. You’re going to do your best in school, do all of your homework, be a good student, and talk in class. You talk too much and you don’t think before you speak. Don’t look for pity, people will pity you because they don’t understand and don’t know what else to do. Sometimes people will hate you because they think you get preferred treatment. Don’t let these people get to you, they aren’t worth it. Make friends for keeps, be a friend worth keeping. Make people smile, and smile for them, they’ll like you. Be nice to girls and say nice things to them, but not all the time, they’ll think you’re a brown noser. If you want a girl to like you treat her like she matters. Respect her, listen to her problems when she needs someone, be reliable, no matter what time it is. Push your limits, do everything you can to show you care. She’ll love you for who you are if you love her the same way.

Life hs been throwing me a lot of curveballs lately and I am not one for baseball(well softball since I am a girl…) I have found a good place to write which has seemed to help but I am also not forcing myself to write if its just not there.
