National Donut Day

I did not get to the work I said I was going to do yesterday. I was going to get to it today and then 100 more things fell in my lap. It’s national donut day. The rest of the Culture Committee has either quit or is off today so I got to go around the whole building passing donuts myself. I get to make another pass today after the PM staff comes in.

It’s a sweltering 95 degrees outside. It makes most of the building super hot. I have a personal fan and an air conditioner in my little corner, so it’s not too bad. I’m glad I don’t work full time in the kitchen anymore! I did pick up Saturday this weekend and Sunday next weekend. Then they better not ask me for a while. Because it is a different department I can’t switch days and get a day off – so if I pick up the weekends I don’t get days off. That … can wear a person out.

I don’t really have much to say. I just felt like writing.

I’ll probably add more to this later.

Yeah. Not much new to report. Did the second pass with the donuts. 40 minutes left of this shift. Regretting picking up work tomorrow but I know I will appreciate the money.

Nick wants to order food for dinner. I kinda just want to crawl into bed and zonk out.
