Lip Gloss & Flax Seed

I have nothing really worth while to say today. Which is a really great way to start an entry isn’t it?

I’m starting to get a little swelling/pain in my throat. I’m hoping if I ignore it, it will go away.

I’ve got a sudden urge to make chili.

The sunshine was out for a bit today but it left quickly.

I am excited to leave at 4 today, but I am also wondering if I could pick up any hours anywhere. Like maybe Brandon would like me to stay and deep clean the kitchen? Perhaps Kimberly would like me to stay and do some filing. Her last day is tomorrow. I think. I swear she had said Thursday when I first asked her weeks ago, but I gave her the gifts from Mom and I today, partially so it wont be over shadowed by the big managers gift, and partially so she gets more than one day of fun.

I have more than a bunch of things to do to get ready for … life.

My house desperately needs a Brittney cleaning vs a Nick “cleaning”. I have the walk to end Alzheimer’s on Saturday, which is normally the day if I am getting anything done – when it actually gets done. So I am going to try and push myself to get it done today. Then I have to get together our suitcases and plan out things for Nick and I, and other odds and ends. Probably should notify the bank I am leaving the state so they don’t freeze my account or something.

Ehhh, I don’t have much time to write this, and it wasn’t really going anywhere anyway.

why would your bank freeze your account if you leave town?

September 25, 2019

@jaythesmartone Sometimes the bank will think – Hey, this is normal spending for this person and put a freeze on it until they can verify that you actually did make those purchases. I did have my account hacked once and they put a freeze on it, because it said I spent 800 at Walmart in Tennessee. So it’s a good system.

Oh yeah, you definitely need to let the bank know. That’s happened to my parents a few times.

Now I’m curious about the difference between your cleaning and Nick’s cleaning. I’m assuming you do a more deep cleaning.

And I’m trying to decide if you’re a workaholic or you’re having wanting the extra money. What do you say?

September 25, 2019

@heffay I would say both. I like to work and make people proud but I love the extra money.

Nick cleans up pretty well. I don’t know how to explain it, except for he misses “the edges”. Kinda like if you were vacuuming, you do the main part but don’t touch the edges. Does the dishes, but doesn’t wipe up the sink. Takes out the trash but doesn’t wipe off the garbage can. So the bulk of it is clean, but not … entirely?

He does a good job, I’m just picky.

@thelastdonut okay, I’m stuck on the wiping off the trash can. You clean the trash can after you empty it?

September 25, 2019

@heffay I mean, if you spill stuff on it … which happens right?

September 25, 2019

@thelastdonut sometimes on the outside. But inside, it has the bag liner. Though I’m sure if you saw ours you’d go crazy. The inside needs a cleaning because of times where people throw stuff away and not realizing the bag isn’t in it
