Ghost of the Grapes
Today has flown by. I can’t believe it’s after 2. I haven’t even been to the bathroom since I first woke up this morning.
I was unable to get into the DMV yesterday as planned, because it was about an hour before closing time and they said they had a 2 hour wait. I asked Kimberly if I could come in a little late and she said no problem. So my grandma took us at 7:30 – and even though it didn’t open until 8:00 we were the 4th and 5th in line. By 5 to 8:00, there were at least 40 people in line. I was an hour and 10 minutes late for work. But they said I should get my new ID within a week. So it all works out.
Gigi & Andre finally booked their flights to Vegas with us, and they are even on the same flight so WOOHOO!
Today at work we had an appreciation barbecue for first responders and veterans. Made the whole morning go really fast.
Oh and what do you know … now it’s 6:30 and almost time to leave.

I haven’t been to the DMV in quite a while. I had to renew my license last year and I could do it all online. It’s nice.
Just so you know, not that you care, I’m trying to decide if I would enjoy Vegas or not. I have no plans to go there, even my family lives like an hour away. Anyway. I’m going on a dumb tangent
@heffay I do care! I like it because you don’t need to drive to get around. Otherwise I would prefer somewhere quiet – like a beach or a cabin in the woods.
