Can you see me?
Can anyone see me? I wrote an entry a few days ago, and got two notes – but I wasn’t sure if anyone else could see it.

I can see it now but I wonder if you made it private and forgot to turn it back to public? Because I swear it wasn’t there before!

i saw your note on babyslime’s entry and wanted to say i KNOW heel spur pain! i got one in my right foot with pregnancy 1 and one in my left with pregnancy 2. i did get them fixed with cortisone shots but i’ve been told physical therapy can help as well. i endedup with orthotics bc my feet got so messed up. it sucks! they spread so they’re bigger and hurt very easily. kids!! when did yours start?

no bueno. It’s private?

RYN: what did your doc say? mine didn’t require surgery at all. just a shot of cortisone (they did xrays and the doc looked at the xray to get the right spot.) if you don’t like the idea of that, i’ve heard physical therapy works. it’s so painful; i can’t imagine living with it for long! it’s like knives in the heel. i don’t miss it and i hope i don’t get another one with this baby. the shot hurtsbut it’s worth it. i know cortisone can be a concern though for some. athletes use it all the time though, as far as i know.

RYN: what kind of surgery do they do for that?? remove the calcium build-up? did he say it was so severe that he thought the other methods wouldn’t work? my chiropractor gave me an exercise to do to help. he said to use one of those old glass coke bottles and roll my foot on it. i used a cylindric massager instead but really only the cortisone worked. i didn’t try surgery. sorry about the insurance 🙁 i’m in canada so that isn’t an issue for me but i HATE hearing about how it has an effect on so many ppl i know from the U.S.
