Stutter,Shook, & Tongue Tied

So I know it’s been what four years since my last entry. Life’s had me so busy that I pretty much forgot about about venting here. Oh well I’m back tongue tied and trying to figure a few things out. I guess I ought to say it never ceases to amaze me how people try so desperately to hide things when they know it’s bound to come out eventually. I mean really come on….I’m not saying it’s easy, but just spit it out. Trust me it will be a relief in the end.

Last Thursday ought to start the first blow to my ears…my 17 year old sister broke the news to me that she is pregnant. Hmm…what do you say at first to such a statement?? I had mixed feelings at the whole ordeal at first. Considering the father (whom I CAN’T STAND) I know won’t be there for her. I mean hell if he couldn’t even make his marriage work after 3 months of his firs son being born (and yes he cheated on his wife with my sister-long screwed up story)…what makes her think he’s gonna be there for her. So I ask her what does he think? Her reply was "umm he said he’d help with child support". Oh you know that pissed me off. STUPID BASTARD! But what are you gonna do really? He’s scum and will always be. I told her she need to kick his ass to the curb and move on. So I’m not sure what she’s gonna do..keep the baby…give the baby up for adoption. I just told her she’s has to do some major soul searching and clean her act up. I don’t mean to sound like the bitchy older sister, BUT my sister has given my mother hell and I’ve had a lot in trying to help. My sister has a wild streak and has only continued to go down the wrong path. I only hope that with this baby if she keeps this baby that maybe she’s grow up a little.

Lastnight would be the second blow to my ears. My husband tells me of some drama on his side of the family. He has an older brother and sister. His older brother has been married twice with the result of a son from the second marriage. He’s recently been divorced about six months and has already jumped into another relationship. I met his new lady friend a couple months ago and she seemed pretty nice and I will say my brother-in-law does appear very happy with her considering his last marriage was a nightmare. Anyhow, my husband decides to give his sister a call lastnight to see how she is doing and finds out in the process that his brother has up and married this new woman last Friday. WTF???? Was my husband and my first thoughts!! And the weird thing is he did this secretly and didn’t even bother to tell his sister and brother. So we in shock…man oh man what was he thinking doing this so randomly?? My sister-in-law seems to believe that he married this woman because she reminds him of his first wife. Crazy huh?? And the real crazy twist to this whole saga is we find out today from my father-in-law that they didn’t really marry Friday that they married two months ago!!!! Can you say what is going on?? Apparently the word of the hush hush marriage is that his nine year old son doesn’t want his mother (2nd wife) to know. So who knows how long this bit of news will go quiet. I mean really how long before she finds out? I think the whole secrecy is a little silly if you ask me. I mean they are all adults. And why couldn’t he even tell his siblings? It’s not ike they are going to judge him. If he’s happy that’s all that matters. Sure they think he rushed in a little to soon, but they are just looking out for him. So I’m curious as to how long before my brother-in-law will call my husband to mention the news. I sometimes think my brother-in-law is a little odd. I mean he definitely shows a clear patter of "I can be alone sindrome". I’ll give you an example: 1st marriage lasted about 5 years. He was divorced six months till he met 2nd wife and married her immediately. 2nd marriage lasted about 9 years. He divorced just recently and six months later he married 3rd wife. Do you see a pattern here? Oh well I really do hope he is happy and this marriage works out for the best. BUT if it doesn’t I think he just needs to change his name to Elizabeth Taylor. LOL!
