We’re back

We just came back from being offline for just under an hour. We started noticing a slowdown in service today about 5:30 p.m. EST and began diagnosing, but by 8:30 had concluded it would be necessary to take the site down temporarily for some tests.

The problem was found to be in some of the virtual memory usage on our webserver, which had resulted in some database hangups and timeouts. We’ve cleared that up, and everything is back running as it should be.
