If you are waiting for your diary to import…
It’s on it’s way! We ran into a hiccup in the importer that moves diaries from the old site data into this new site sometime yesterday, and the imports have been taking longer than expected. The good news is, Engineering put in a fix last night to get it going again – and imports are moving along again so if you are waiting for yours you really should see it in the next twenty-four hours or so. Sorry for the delay 🙂
Also, if you are “new” to the site – meaning you have reclaimed an existing account – please be sure to check the privacy settings for your diary. We have had quite a few members who have come back who unknowingly have their diaries set to Private or Friends Only, and are wondering why they are getting no notes – it’s because nobody else is seeing your entries.
You can check the privacy setting by clicking the main menu and going to Profile, then clicking on Settings, then clicking on Diary – look there for Diary Privacy, and make sure it is set to Members or Public, if you want other people to see your entries (obviously, you can have it on Friends if you want only your Friends to see it).

@lakeland we are working on a download facility, it will be available sometime in the near future.

My diary cuts off in 2009, but I know that I wrote for years after that. Why did I lose that last chunk of my diary?

My diary entries from 2014 on back still does not have any of the pictures I posted via img src tags.
Do you think it might help if I asked to have it imported again? Is that even possible?
@deve we are actually working on a fix for that right now – the problem is that the current system doesn’t recognize img src tags as valid URLs. You don’t have to do anything additional – we are going to apply a fix that will update to make it work.
