Diary Import facility

The diary import facility has been brought back into service, with improved performance. If you have an OD diary that you want to bring to OD+, just go to the front page of the site and follow the diary import link.

Some diarists have asked if the facility will also transfer notes – yes, it does. You have the option to bring your notes over from OD, or not.

Also, some people have asked whether the OD version of their diary is removed when they perform a diary import. It is not – the original version of your diary remains in OD, for you to keep or remove, as you see fit.

When the import facility runs, it will bring over all your old entries, and put them at the beginning of your OD+ diary, followed by any entries you have made here. If you have multiple OD diaries, you can bring all of them over – just run the import facility for each one.
