Cancelling Writing

I’ve done that before, thanks for the 60 seconds of programming.

Alright… I dont know what Im really doing…. but I really need to talk to someone about something that happened on this site… so will you please get ahold of me. Its really important… but leave it as a private note please.

This is a terrific idea! I think a few of my faves might have needed it recently.

Sorry, I don’t know if you prefer questions & such in e-mail form or note form. I just wanted to ask two things. Can there be a suggestion box/forum? And about setting the diary to favorites: on errormessage.asp?message=41, can there be a button/link that a signed in diarist can click on so it submits that diarists name to the author, to let the author know someone wants to be on their favs?

Can you create like a counter for the diary entry? Because I never know how much room I have left, and when I click Save, it say’s I have too many characters. I don’t know how much is too much.

how do u get those cool backrounds in ur diary. i tried it in the diary maintainance.. theres no way to put cool backrounds. maria

LOL You should call it the Lupus button or the Fibro Fog button hehe! It is for people like me who sometimes cant think clearly! O.k. O.k. I can NEVER think clearly! LOL So thanks 😉

Bonjour Mosieur le Diarymaster, i was just wondering if there was anything you could do about the pop-up ads? because they seem to be getting more and more out of control. i think you shouldn’t allow those fake pop-ups that tell you that you have a virus when you really don’t…and is there any way that i could upgrade to od plus without a credit card?

p.s. i know this is your diabolically evil plan, allow to popup adds to get progressively more out of control until people are just too annoyed with them to put up with it anymore and end up paying you the measly 25 buck. which i would pay if i didnt have to have a credit card. your site rocks, i could give you some pointers if you want to strengthen your security

I think we need a button on the menu that takes us to the Open Diary Home Page. When I am reading someones diary and I just want to go to the homepage…I really can’t. Just a suggestion. =)

That’s cool! Thanks! that reminds me though, is there some way that you can edit notes after you’ve saved them? If not, can you make something like that? A lot of times i remember something i wanted to write in the note after i’ve already saved it, or I decide that i didn’t want to say something that way… Thanks! -m-

hey dm? you know how you made the ‘favorite of’ feature? can you make a ‘blocked by…’ feature, too? cause, if I don’t know someone, but they have me blocked, I think it’d only be fair for me to know they’ve got me blocked, and be able to block them, too. does that make sense? just a suggestion

You know what else would be nifty? A thing asking in you are sure that you want to delete notes.

i tried to find what exactly the e-mail address was, but it seems as though you’ve taken them down off your diary & the front page so i’m going to ask this here instead. is there some way you could do something to sort of compensate both sides of the favorites only feature? i keep trying to just go around the site, but i can’t because at least half the site is on faves only. somehow i just (C)

(C) don’t understand how you could make a site to bring people around the world together & then introduce a sort of mean spirited feature to push people apart. i don’t think that’s what you intended to have happen, but in a way.. it has. i don’t know what i’m asking you to do about it, but i know that something needs to be changed & several people on the site would agree.

I have a question. My diary is acting kind of wierd. I can’t edit entries *the space where your entry would show comes up blank* and the automatic HTML isn’t working on my diary, either. if i want bold, i can’t click on the “B” button at the top….i have to do the whole thing…do you think you could fix it?

im an OD+ member.. i tried searching your entries before bothering you with a question probably answered already, but why is it that when my non-OD friends login [under OD reader login] and leave notes, it DOESNT use the “description” to sign the notes. there’s nothing, it always just looks anonymous. did you do away with that feature? the only option they have is “unsigned note”.

But, a box that comes up says an error has acurred on such and such lines. And when I go and click ok to save my changes it won’t save it.. Please help me.. Thanks

i’m having a weird issue. every time i write it shoves my entire entry into one block of writing, no matter how many times i press return between paragraphs. any idea why? thanks!

What’s the point fo the readers choice block at the end of an entry? I mean, does anyone ever really use that?

When I type in my OD and then skip and whole line 2 make it look like a paragragh it works it looks the way that I want it 2 look. But when I save the entry and it pop’s back up everything that i’ve typed is all together in 1 big paragraph and i was just wondering why it has started doing that Its like its doing word wrap I think that it has done this on my last 6 or 7 entrys. plz help if u can

i’m having difficulty setting the background image on the top menu bar to a custom image. every time i give it a url & try to save it, i get a “page cannot be displayed” error. just thought i’d let you know 🙂

I didn’t know who else to ask so i came to you. I was working on my diary front page and everything was going well. I finally learned how to do the pop-ups and stuff like that but when I went to my diary front page after I had finished it, my diary entrys weren’t showing up at the side. I have no clue what to do.Please help me out I am going insane!

Hi, I’m sorry to bother you, but I tried emailing and I got a message back saying the email didn’t send properly. I just wanted to let you know that new diaries don’t work on TOD, you can create them.. but then the entry table has some type of code on it and it won’t let you write entries or anything.

I hate to post this here… You need a “questions and suggestions” email form as you do for the rules violations and such. Here is my question.. is it possible for a OD plus user to change an existing diary to a new authorcode without having to pay for an entirely new diary? Do to some drama I would love to just start fresh with a new authorcode that way it couldnt be known or what not.

I left a note a while ago about getting an OD email address, but you never got back to me. I know you’re busy, so I don’t mean to pester you, but I’d really like to know. You should have my information, but if you don’t, drop by my diary and let me know. Thanks!

I am wondering why for some reason I cannot make paragraphs anymore. I had my settings set to when I pushed the ‘return’ button it is supposed to be double spaced … but I cannot get my diary to make paragraphs!! Hehe, thanks.

There is this big white box on the left corner of my diary sometimes. what is it and is there a way I can get rid of it?

I’ve been having a problem with my Write Entry screen. The HTML buttons don’t seem to work like they used to. My font doesn’t change automatically as often. Sometimes I have to refresh and refresh to get it to work properly. Is this just happening to me?
