you be the rhythm and i’ll be the beat
last night kyle and i went to the warehouse to meet with ben and zoe
i won all four games of pool, haha, and we saw kevin, an old friend from middle/high school
and i met this older guy named jim, who we smoked a joint with
he was cool, and when we left he told me i had an awesome smile
zoe had her dogs in the car and kyle was holding star and went down to put her back in the car while zoe was going to shut the door at the same time and she ended up punching him in the face hahaha so now he has a bloody fat lip
my dog smells like mac n’ cheese and corn chips
which is odd because i don’t feed her either of those things
she always smells like food haha
speaking of which, i have been eating an alarming amount of mac n’ cheese
which isn’t so bad, since it is vegan
but that means that instead of all that cream, i am eating beans
slowly getting through this week
i am such a sloth because 3 classes should be easy peasy but it feels like i am always working
that is probably an exaggeration, it is probably just from having to catch up on missed work
in book structures we are currently doing books with stab bindings and decorated papers
so i bought an easy cut rubber slab to make stamps
last night i made a few that turned out pretty neat
one of them is a wood grain texture, another is a repeatable tentacle thing, and the other is just geometric shapes
it is still like 80 degrees here!
so much for coats this winter
book structures sounds like such a cool class, when i am diddling away on my own i usually end up making things into book forms, but never have been thought bindings etc, it seems like such a practical skill! how hard is it to carve into the rubber to make stamps? stamps have always caught my eye but are way to expensive. oh man i couldn’t deal with that heat, in ireland if it goes above 50 we die
