Up To My Neck In Snow….

Bah…there has been a TON of snow the last couple of days…absolute mayhem on the streets…I think we had about a foot and a half of snow. Accidents were happening all over..I think this was old man winter’s way of saying goodbye. Started snowing lots on St. Patricks Day….that night was super busy at the bar also. We were right full and had a huge lineup goin to the end of the block..all the bars on Whyte were like that..was super busy. Us bouncers were busy too…we had our run of the usual idiots and they were flying out the door. Some guy tried to call me on at the end of the night…I dont know what his problem was..he was mumbling in a drunken stupor about a drunk girl outside. I told him that it wasnt my problem anymore…then he got in my face…I pushed him back a bit and I warned him that I will knock him out if he got in my face again. So…he comes right up to me again and I pushed him back again…HARD. He flew back about 6 ft or so..down 2 steps and into the rail..he stumbled up and one of the other doormen grabbed him and threw him out the door…I heard a loud bang so I assumed he got his face rammed into the steel door. Other than that it was a good night..I was a popular guy that night…hugs and kisses all around from the ladies…felt good to be the centre of attention 🙂 I’m on days off now…3 days off to be exact…it will make for some nice relaxation for me. I’m headin out for coffee with a girl tomorrow that I know..she comes to the bar with her friends a lot..shes a super sweet girl..we are gonna meet up and chat and stuff..should make for a real good day. I bet yer sick of the "war" stories already…maybe my next entry wont have that…something other than that should suffice. Anyhow..I will return soon…Basta.
