Good morning! :)

I’m awake–on my day off.  Way too darn early (almost 6:30 am here, but I’ve been up since 5ish).

In my defense, I went to bed relatively early (for me) last night so it made for an easier night of sleep.

Boyfriend is still sleeping 🙂 So I thought this would be a good time to write while I sip on a cup of homemade, Fred Meyer store brand coffee.  Lol.

I gave an incredibly in-depth life update last entry so I’ll keep this one semi-brief. 🙂

Random note:  Watching Property Brothers on HGTV.  Because there’s SO much else on at 6:30 am on a Saturday, lol.  But I actually kind of like Property Brothers and shows like this as I am entering adulthood.  Anyway, a home was put together for a couple and in the kitchen, they remodeled the kitchen, putting in two different color cabinets–white on top, brown on bottom.  The OCD perfectionist in me had a HEART ATTACK.  Dislike.  Lol.  

Now I’m trying to figure out how to transfer my iPhone purchases to iTunes.  Dang.  I used to be SO technologically saavy.  Am I becoming one of those?  I don’t get on a computer often anymore so I’m afraid my skills have been lacking.  Lol.  

Figure it out.  The new iTunes is a bit confusing.  Also my iPhone 5, has some new features I’m still getting used to.

Man. 

I LOVE having a job where I work primarily Monday through Friday.  SO NICE!  However, I do have an event tomorrow, and listen to this.  I have to be to work at my full time job at 6 am to train a new server.  Then, off to the Community College for about 5 hours for an event.  Then BACK at my full time job at around 2 for an event.  CRAZINESS.  Told myself I wasn’t going to do that anymore but this is a little bit different.  It wasn’t going from working a minimum wage retail job to my waitressing job–it’s going from Event Manager at a College to Event Managing at a Conference Center.  I finally put on my big-girl panties 🙂 

Anyway, financially speaking–I am a little money spender.  BOO.  I do have some in savings but I need to be a LOT better about that!  Especially since I have a WEDDING coming up!  But good news is my boyfriend and I are setting up a savings account together 🙂 Each paycheck we’re going to put in $50, just as a future reference type.  I know, I know, most people say that’s a "bad idea", but not for us.  Neither of us are vindictive.  We also are responsible adults.  Believe it or not, when it comes to relationships, when they END, I don’t think it’s an accurate representation of the person.  I don’t think it’s a sign of "true colors" coming out.  I think people go to extremes when they are really hurt.  I’ve been there, and believe it or not, because of my pretty despicable actions, I grew from it.

Anyway, what I was TRYING to get at with the whole finance thing was that I WANT EVERYTHING!  Hahaha.  Clothes mostly, purses, blahhhhh.  Lots of good stuff!  But I’m TRYING to be better.  Goal is $10,000 in savings.  On my way.  Hahaha.

I think it’s all about finding someone who makes you the best person you can be.  Trust me, they are out there and it IS a thing.  I am a completely different person now, thanks to Mitchell, than I have been in previous relationships.  It’s a very calming feeling.

SPEAKING of Mitchell and weddings–so I’m totally not engaged yet.  Lol.  BUT… we had planned to have our engagement party be the day when he gets his suite for the MLB team.  (Not sure if I’ve mentioned this but that’s how we met–he’s a full time Front Office employee, Event Manager for them.  I, however, just folded T shirts  Lol).  Anyway, every season, every Front Office employee gets a suite to the game and up to 20 free tickets for the suite.  Last year, he had his in August so I was kind of thinking that’s when he would have it again.  But he said to me last night… "Too bad there aren’t many games in May."  I was like wait… what?  I gave him a look, and he just smiled.  "Ummm.. by then?  That soon?"  He just smiled back!  Ahhhh!  Can’t IMAGINE how it’s going to be getting engaged!  Seriously the more I think about it the more chills I get, lol.  Especially if it’s coming soon…

Anyway, I’m going to restart my computer for my iTunes updates AND my boyfriend’s alarm just went off:)
