simple, no?
To do list:
• Cease with the assumption that the next act is a foregone conclusion.
• Embrace the dissolution of past narratives and move forward.
• Avoid the pitfall of using age &/or rot as an excuse for anhedonia.
• Evaluate and distill desires – accept that the act of pursuing said desires is not inherently selfish.
• Unlearn the performative. Tackle passivity.
• Commence work on the thing.
• Plant new aspirations in the soil where others have been laid to rest.
• Refrain from looking up old peers and casual acquaintances on Wikipedia. This is self flagellation. (See also: certain red carpet interviews, books/book reviews, music reviews, and Instagram accounts.)
• Just make the damn specialist appointments already. The not knowing doesn’t make things better and/or easier, and could actually be making things much worse. (Remember, not all rheumatologists and neurologists practice medical misogyny.)
• Buy more dresses and books.
always buy more books. always always on the list.
@coxiegirl Absolutely. Had to give myself at least one attainable goal.

I live in dresses…not necessarily dressy ones, but even casual T dresses, more flattering to my disproportionate body.
Books – mine would be read the books I have bought.
Here’s to checking everything off your list.
@strawberryjelly casual dresses all day/sundresses in this heat. And the unread books – very much need to work through those as well. But I could always use more!
