my absence

so … i have been absent from writing for a while.. although, not entirely sure it has been noticed … but anyway

Work has been fantastic, i cant even begin to describe how nice it is to wake up and want to go to work, to enjoy being there, i think because i was so miserable in my last position for so long that i didnt think it possible to think one could enjoy going to work.  The other bonus with work is that i am actually getting to use my brain, its nice to not be constantly bored and uninspired.  Yes it has only been two weeks since i started my new role, but i already know that there is no way in hell i will ever go back to my old job after the ten months, that if it doesnt continue ( which i have been hinted at that it will ) i will look for another job elsewhere, which wont be hard getting one after this role.

Another bonus with my promotion is that i treated myself to a new laptop and wireless internet.  YAY!  I am on it now. sitting infront of the heater in my loungeroom watching the tv and on the net on my lappy .. its so so nice.  With my new job there just isnt the chance to get on the net at work, i get to read the odd email here and there, reply here and there but its so sparingly and rushed, and once i get home i am either too tired to be on the computer (now i can just go on while im in bed… nice) or im getting late home, or my cousin is on the puter, so… this is my treat and i like my treat.

The other treat is that my mum and i are going to go on a holiday together just after christmas, so with my pay rise im gonna save to go on a holiday, we are not sure where to go yet, but thinking either vanuatu, cook islands, hawaii, fiji .. or new zealand … ok last one isnt really a tropical holiday place, but, just gonna look into it, so i am rather excited about it.

Other news .. hmmm .. well it was my little beautiful nieces birthday the other week .. i so cant believe that she is one year old already, time just seriously flys, AND she was walking on her birthday, and not just the timid steps here and there, but the whole stand up and run and around kinda walking, was so so so cute, she was so tiny and has such tiny little feet.  She just is the little sparkle in my life.

So i think thats about it for now .. i am rather old and boring now, so dont have too much exciting to talk about, but now that i have my beautiful laptop i will be on so much more.
