lazy day

a few dabs of paint
and my frown grows still larger
nothing wants to work
on a lazy day at home
with deadlines around the bend

Even my fingers don’t seem to want to work right as I type this.

I’ve been saying all week that I’d use this long weekend – I have four days, due to my odd schedule at work and the holiday – to finish the holiday cards and get them ready for mailing. Well, it’s now Monday, all I have done are the backgrounds, and I have to get them out this week. *sigh*

Which only adds to the stress as I’m not happy with how some of the techniques I’m using are coming out…

Of course, Ayeka wants me to hold them up longer, till she has photographs to include in them, so heaven knows when they’ll get out..
