Happy birthday, Ayeka. 🙂

Ayeka and I have been talking for about a week now about the fact that she’s turned a quarter-century today, and how it feels. (In her words, “no different”.) I was originally writing something like:

you’re twenty-five now –
denial ain’t just egypt’s
longest, widest stream

or something like that, but thought that was maybe just a little too corny. Yeah, well.

Granted, I remember what twenty-five was like, a long, long, long time ago…
