Winter Weather — Brrrr

This is the view I woke up to around 8:00 a.m. today. We’ve had snow flurries off and on all day, yet at sunset the snow on the hills was all but history. Just a wee bit on the very tops of the hills across to the right (they’re higher than we are). The hillside to the left was bare and brown.

I’ve made good progress on the Brown Strip Quilt. The strips will run horizontally, across the width of the bed and hang over the sides. The backing will be a nice solid brown, as that’s the fabric I have the most of right now that will complement this quilt top.

Book I’m currently reading: "A Wee Christmas Homicide" by Kaitlyn Dunnett (It’s a Liss MacCrimmon Scottish Mystery). It’s a hardback and it’s really very good so far. I have over 560 books on my Kindle with 4 more to download just tonight. Happy reading to those who love books as I do.
