Ouchers

I was trying to fix breakfast yesterday morning–dicing a potato, and the potato rolled to the left and my left hand rolled to the right, just as I was ‘whacking’ the last bit of potato. Yep, I cut my left thumb — pretty badly, it appears, so while I’m keeping it elevated above my heart to keep it from hurting too awfully bad, I’m one-finger typing and wondering if I don’t need a stitch or two in it. Arrrgh.. It’s hurt off and on (mostly on when the acetaminophen wears off) ever since I cut it. I changed the bandaid a bit ago and it didn’t look all that good. Swollen and a bit bruised looking. We’ll keep an eye on it and give it some time to close up. Soooo this is it for now…
