On a roll
Went to Bunco last night and I came away with "Most Wins" for a prize of $12! Not bad for just returning after a 2 month hiatus! Several of the girls mentioned that they missed me but didn’t know where I was–except for the friend who lives across the valley from me. She watches the lights in our house at night. She asked if we had been gone as she kept watching for lights to come on in the house but it remained dark. I told the girls that I asked the Activity Director at the park if there was any Bunco games going on in the park. She said she didn’t know of any and I’ve decided that if we go back I’ll get one going. Should be fun!
I got the quilt top squared to 90"x100" and have the backing set out but have to wait until the 3rd of next month when my friend will have the money to purchase the batting for the quilt. I’ve begun pulling fabrics out for the next quilt — a Log Cabin pattern for my sister in Texas. I’ll post photos when I get enough together to photograph.
We had an excellent day today, beginning with our monthly breakfast with our Depot Friends. There were 14 of us there at the Village Grill this morning so we were missing a couple of people. We celebrated 1 birthday this month. Next month we move back to Denny’s for our breakfast get-together as there are 3 birthdays next mojnth, including DH’s. At Denny’s, you get a free Grand Slam breakfast for your birthday. Can’t beat that.
Not much else to report so will close this with blessings to all. Be safe, be well and please be happy. Be sure to tell those you love that you love them.
