Just Saying Hello
Things have been a bit different here lately. I’ve collected art glass and depression glass for some time. I considered it an investment for the future. Ever since the dr. in AZ repeatedly asked me how old I was, I’ve given more and more thought to the question of "When is the future?" I decided that maybe now is the future, so I have contracted with an estate sales company to sell my glass collection. We’re doing one type at a time, and I’m hoping that I receive good return on my investment. We shall see.
One of my favorites said she was supposed to be grading papers instead of messing around here on OD and that reminded me of a funny sign a friend posted on Facebook some time ago.
You could just as easily say, "Oooh look, Open Diary!!" Such is life … I don’t write here nearly as much as I read and note all of my friends.
May you all be blessed. Be safe, be well and please be happy. Be sure to tell those you love that you love them. It really is the most important thing in life.
I wish you all kinds of fortune in selling your depression glass.

I believe you will do great with selling your collections. It was the rage here several years ago and people were paying big bucks for anything they could find. Good luck although I don’t think you’re going to need it. What a GREAT idea to sell it now too instead of later.

Yes, bravo to you too. It’s a hard thing to get rid of stuff that you love, but it’s delightful to feel freer. 🙂

RYN: Just take a pound of ground beef and brown it well, making sure it’s broken up well. Drain off all the grease from the browning, and stir in a package of Taco seasoning and the called-for water. You can use this for tacos, burritos, or taco salads. If you want chicken burritos, just shred about 2 cups or so of cooked chicken into one can of enchilada sauce (get the one specifically for chicken). Heat and use to fill burritos or tacos (or even chicken taco salad).
