Cold by any other name
I look out my window and watch the sun going down. Our area is called Golden Hills and it’s aptly named because at this time of day the hills are indeed golden. Also, the fog begins moving in and with it, cold, moist air arrives to blanket the hills and the valley below. I call it fog — DH calls it haze. LOL He should get out in it — he’ll change his mind very quickly! It’s a cold that reaches through clothing and flesh to bury itself into your bones.
The furnace just came on so I’m not imagining the cold I’m feeling. Wunderground says it’s 47.1 deg. I’d bet it’s a couple of degrees colder than that!
Not much going on… I’m 90% done with the lavender rag quilt and am waiting on the batting for the Brown Strip Quilt. All in due time…
Be safe, be well and please CHOOSE to be happy. Blessings to all … be sure to tell those you love that you love them.
Cold! No fun. If it’s water droplets in the air I call it fog, if it’s particulate matter I call it haze.
