Close, but no cigar! BOM Saga continues **EDIT**

A quilting friend whom I shall call B and I have made a pact to make a block each month (Block Of the Month) for the next 12 months. At the end of the year we will have similar quilts–hers will be a lap quilt size, while mine will fit a twin bed. The pattern will be the same for each of us, but we will use different fabrics. I’m expecting B to visit this afternoon and I promised to have my 2nd block completed. Well, I cut very precisely and stitched carefully, only having to rip out seams twice. When I finished putting the block together, it didn’t look quite like I thought it should so I compared it to the photo on the instructions. Nope. Close, but not quite right. Out with the seam ripper and pin it together again. I have to go to the bank so will put this off until later this morning.  All I need to do is rip out two seams, re-orient them to their proper position and stitch them together. "Piece of cake." (Devil’s Food cake, maybe.) DH came in to take a look and asked me if I had ever considered taking up a different hobby. Hmmm…. Nope, I don’t think so. Better to persevere and conquer! LOL

Be safe, be well, and please be happy. Be sure to tell those you love that you love them. Know that you ARE loved. Life is a learning process–there are no rules — we live and we learn.

Looks fine to me. What was wrong. I always have that problem myself.
