4 month doc appointment
My sweet little girl turned 4 months yesterday she aslo had her 4 month appointment. They had to transport all the shots to the health department when we had to evacuate for Gustav so she didn’t get her shots. We have to go to the health department sometime to get them. She weighed 13 pounds 14 ounces and was 23 inches long. She is short just like her daddy and me. The nurse said she is doing great and was very impressed that she was already starting to scoot and how well she held her head and at how she sits up so well. We also came up with a schedule of feeding her solids yesterday since she has been on rice cereal so long. She normally gets 2 Tbs of rice cereal before bed and this morning i gave her 1 Tbs of it this morning to get her use to it in the morning. Once i get to the store i will pick up some sweet potatoes and carrots and a food processor and then she will start getting a veggie at lunch and cereal at nighttime and in the morning then eventually we will have her eating veggies for lunch and at night and cereal only in the monring. It’s so sad my little girl is getting so big and it’s even worse cause she seems to be matureing a bit faster then most she is about the level of a 6 month old right now. I’m glad she is growing up but i miss my little girl needing me so much she now likes to be set down and play by herself where she use to like to be held and loved on by me all the time. She still only says mommy when she is upset but she says da da now in fact the other day she was sitting at one end of the couch and matt was sitting at the other and she rocked until she fell on her tummy then she scooted all the way across the couch to her daddy saying da da all the way it was so cute. It made me cry though cause it made me see how much she is growing up.
*random mommy noter* My daughter is the same way. She’s 5 months and is doing things that 8 and 9 month olds are doing. She has 2 teeth.. She had them by the end of her 4th month. She’s been sitting up since 3 months about. And she now pulling to sit up on her own. Standing and loving it! Yay! For advanced babies
