Karma – She Is A Bitch…

I’m evil.  I know it.  I take great pleasure in seeing bad things happen to people who shun me.  While I may not point these things out and say "Ha Ha!", I will do a small dance in the middle of the room.

After being told by the regional manager that I wouldn’t be moving to the Dallas area because my position was so critical to the entire region, they are now having a bit of trouble filling that position.  The first lady they hired failed her background check.  Apparently, she forgot to mention a drug charge.  After that, another lady embellished her resume by saying she worked at places she never did and had degrees from colleges she never attended.  The third lady quit after one day.  (Insert small dance in the middle of the room.)

Over the weekend, they had a painter come into the office.  This painter is married to the previous admin (the one they’ve been tring to fill the position for).  Well, seems she helped herself to the computers and to people’s files.  Somehow she got the secretary’s email password and was sending out little letters to everyone (just saying Hi, nothing nefarious).  The regional manager will be in BIG trouble for this.  For one, all the passwords should have been changed after she left.  And two, she was left alone in the office with her husband for the entire weekend and they were given keys!  (Insert large dance in the middle of the room.)

But Karma is a bitch.

Sunday, I went golfing with my sister and her husband/fiance/fuck-buddy/whatever.  I pulled a muscle in my back and am in a lot of pain.  Not too much pain to where I can’t give the finger to everyone who thinks it’s funny to slap me on the back after I tell them it hurts, but enough to where I moan and groan whenever I have to get out of my chair and go anywhere.

Since I can’t do my little dance in the middle of the room any more, I’ll have to settle for a Ha Ha every now and then…
