Problems with Tay. again…

I found a cigarette in the bathroom the morning Holly and Tay. left, i immediately knew who’s it was, the night before Tay. kept running to the bathroom, saying she had the skitters, well, that happens, who am i to ask questions??

Here those trips were to smoke, and i thought i smelled smoke, but, i gave her the benifit of the doubt, plus she knows we dont smoke in here because the house is sold..

So, yesterday Holly brought the kids’ up to swim, and i told Holly what i found in front of tay., Holly was mad, and Tay. denied it was hers, but, it was Hollys brand of smokes and she was smoking outside too..

We all tried talking to her, Michael told her she could catch things on fire, I told her of the damage she could do, and i told her yes, mom and i smoke but believe me we wish we didnt, and smoking is addictive, well, her eyes got as huge as saucers when i said that and she said "really??" so, im hoping that what we said enters her little brain and she decides to stop..

Then Holly showed me a burn mark on Tay’s arm, apparently her little smoking buddy thought it would be funny to burn taylors arm with a lighter! id’ love to get ahold of that girl and her mother, what the heck are you thinking burning someone with a lighter!!! for God’s sake!!!

Then everything was fine, until it started storming and everyone had to get out of the pool, Holly went to the van and i came inside with Billy to get ready for bingo, then i heard Holly screaming, she had bought a carton of smokes and there was a pack missing, she blamed Taylor started screaming at her, and Taylor stood there crying and she kept saying "i didnt take them", so, i told Tay to come in and get dressed and i talked to her, i hugged her and told her that mom was upset (we all are) because Grandma died of cancer, and we dont want anything like that happening to her, and i told her that she didnt need friends who enjoyed burning her, i said that that was no joke at all..

She kept saying she didnt take the cigarettes, and i wanted to believe her so bad, so, she asked me if i would talk to her mom and calm her down, and i suggested that maybe the pack fell out the van is a mess and thigs get kicked around, so, i talked to Holly and she said no, that Damon had even seen her take the pack, which i dont know if i believe him hes been known to lie to..

Thinking back, Taylor was no where near the van when the cigarettes were taken, she was enjoying swimming in the pool of course i wasnt out there the whole time and i dont know when the smokes went missing, but, i do doubt she took them, i thought maybe Damon or Maya..

It’s just hard to believe anything Taylor says now because of what shes done, but, everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt, i just hope she didnt take the cigarettes..

Mikey told me Taylor’s grades are dropping down to D’s and E’s, i know its the way she is living, im just so scared for her, she really is a good kid, she just fell into a bad crowd..

I know Holly has a bad temper, we all do, and im scared she is going to grab ahold of Taylor (not meaning to of course), when she first caught her smoking she smacked her accross the face, a little bit harder than she should have (she admitted that), and hey, i cant say anything about that, when i was youmger i was caught smoking and my mother cracked me accross the face, looking back now i realize i deserved that and my mom did it because she was scared for me and was trying to teach me a lesson, and i also understand that when your a kid and your parents tell you not to do something your going to do it anyway just because mom and dad said not to, ive been there so many times when i was younger…

I know, kids’ will be kids’ and they will experiment, and its easy to say when your not involved in the kids life, it sure is a scary thing, you hope and pray that they do the right thing.

Holly also told me that Tay. is drinking, well, then i find out from tay. that Hollys boyfriend gave it to her!!! i about hit the roof! this guy is bad news, i went to school with him, he was or still is i dont know a drug dealer, he even (joked) around with Tay when he found out she was smoking, he asked hre if she want a cigarette then asked her if she wanted to smoke some crack, i about died when i heard that one, this is the kind of man my isster has around her children, its sad..

ok, enough about that, im making myself upset just thinking about it!!

I put another ad in the paper for driving lessons, 3 people have called, and i am having a lesson this morning at 9:30, hes a 20 year old (which i wanted someone older, but, we will see what happens)..

Another man called he is 66, i took his name and number, just in case, then a woman called, her name was Dottie and she sounded really nice, so, i have numbers just in case Brandon doesnt work out, he sounds like he will, he said "whenever you want to drive, even if its 2 am, just call me and ill be there" i dont think he has to worry about that, i dont plan on driving at 2 am, ill be sleeping.LMBO
