The End and The Beginning
1. What did you do in 2012 that you’d never done before? Got fired from my job
2. Did you keep your new years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I didn’t make any
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? I gave birth. It doesn’t get much closer than that!
4. Did anyone close to you die? Yes, H’s grandpa died in July.
5. What countries did you visit? No countries.
6. What would you like to have in 2013 that you lacked in 2012? Stability
7. What date from 2012 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? June 18. I became a mother of two.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Breastfeeding. I didn’t write as much about it in here as I should have but it was a huge accomplishment for me.
9. What was your biggest failure? Not taking care of myself. That is not happening this year. I am committed to improving my health this year.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? I acquired a thryoid issue while pregnant. It has stuck around.
11. What was the best thing you bought? H’s wedding band was pretty awesome.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? My husband’s. We have gone through a lifetime of issues–good and bad–this past year and our relationship is as solid as ever.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? My former co-worker/boss. A lot of the derby girls because they didn’t come through for me in ways that I thought they would have.
14. Where did most of your money go? Replacing items we lost in the flood.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? Moving into a rental house after months of living with family
16. What song will always remind you of 2012? I didn’t listen to much music that came out this year but I’d say "Uncharted" by Sara Bareilles is a good one. .

Happier or sadder: Sadder but better than earlier this year
Older or wiser: Wiser.

Richer or poorer: Much poorer in regards to money but much richer in many other ways.
18. What do you wish you’d done more of? Taken care of myself.
19. What do you wish you’d done less of? Spending money.
20. How did you spend Christmas? With H’s family.
21. How did you spend New Year’s Eve? Fell asleep on the couch watching "The Pacifier" and then went to bed at 11:35 lol
22. Did you fall in love in 2012? With my new daughter–and with my first daughter and my husband as I watched them fall in love with her 🙂
23. How many one-night stands? That would be zero, Bob.
24. What was your favourite TV program? Dancing With the Stars
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year? No.
26. What was the best book you read? The Help
27. What was your greatest musical discovery? Adele
28. What did you want and get? A beautiful baby
29. What did you want and not get? A beautiful baby BOY lol
30. What was your favorite film(s) of this year? The Dark Knight Rises
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? I turned 33 and I got an N64 lol
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? Flood insurance lol

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2012? Maternity/post partum chic
34. What kept you sane? An amazing network of mothers I met over the summer.
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? Still Daughtry!
36. What political issue stirred you the most? Healthcare reform
37. Who did you miss? My Grandpa
38. Who was the best new person/people you met? The mothers I mentioned above. I wouldn’t have survived without them.
39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2012: Just when you think you can’t anymore, you can.

I really wanted a boy too lol. BUT now that Eva is here, I wouldn’t change it (and can’t picture it any other way). Cheers to a happy and healthy 2013. I’m getting myself back together too!
