Forgetting Passwords
The new OpenDiary 6.0 looks pretty snazzy. Glad to see some of the more memorable things about OD are making reappearance on the front page. I always enjoyed seeing Reader’s Choice entries.
Obviously, it’s been awhile since I’ve last written, so the website no longer kept my information. I had to type in my diary name and password. Well, it didn’t take it.
Crap.
I know the name is right, so the password must be wrong. But it’s the same password I swear I’ve used before! I tried again; nope! A third time influenced me to click the "Forgot Password" link. Clicking the link reminded me the first time I had to get glasses. It’s a moment of weakness you don’t want to admit. A sign of defeat.
Why do I need glasses? Because I can’t see very well without them! I’m impaired. I lack the bare necessities to survive as a minimalist.
However, I had an epiphany; followed that epiphany and typed in another password I don’t remember ever using. Needless to say…it worked. A few seconds later, my e-mail loaded and OD e-mailed me my password. I honestly don’t remember changing it.
In the end, I’m glad to find out my diary hadn’t been deleted as I originally feared.
Guess who’s back…back again…guess who’s gone…gone again.
Hello. Goodbye.

Funny, I had to retrieve my password today as well. I haven’t been to this website in months! It’s a sign. We were meant to be OD friends, Taradiddle.
