Hundred-Sixty-One: Doing This To Me
.Tanya Faith.Corridor Conversation
Told From 3rd Person POV
Tanya looked intently at Kaden. She didn’t understand how he could be so open about his feelings. For once she understood the poem. She knew what it was like to feel pain.
“Is that to me, Kaden?” She blurted out.
“I don’t know…” He looked away angry.
“Excuse me Mrs. Burbage, but I am excusing myself.” She said as she turned to leave. Kaden quickly followed.
“You can’t keep doing this to me, Kaden. I loved you. You know that. You turned me away. This wasn’t the life you wanted for me and I admired that…but I got sucked into it anyway?” She flew her hands in the air.
“You did by your own choice.” He glared at her. “I am good at poetry. I can’t help the fact that I write what I feel.”
Tanya and Kaden sat in the corridors for hours; pouring out their emotion to each other but the other really wasn’t listening. Between the two of them, they were only listening to their hearts.
“I need time to think about this,” Tanya said breaking the silence. “I just have to go.”
“Then go. I need to find Kayleen away.” He whipped his cloak around.
