Contacts, moving. :(
I got contacts on the 10th but they’re bugging my eyes (especially my right eye)so I’m going to have Jimmy take them out for me when he gets home from work and switch back to my glasses, then I’ll call the eye doctor and let him know what happened. They’re the kind you take out once a month.
Jimmy’s uncle Paul told Jimmy yesterday that he’s planning on giving the business to this guy named Gilbert (who used to work and live here years ago)which means we need to find another place to live. 🙁 Jimmy’s so naive – he thinks we’ll be able to afford a house. He said he makes like $30-40 an hour and we’ll just have to budget more and we’ll be fine. I’m realistic. We’re going to have to sell everything and give the kids up for adoption and live on the streets. We won’t be able to have a phone, only use electricity sparingly, sell the van, live in some rat and roach infested apartment, etc. Why can’t he see how horrible this is? The only reason we’re even surviving is because the only bills we have now are car payments, book clubs, music clubs, Netflix, we pay 1/3 of the electric, phone, cable, etc. He just laughs at me and says I’m being ridiculous. I’m being realistic and he doesn’t even seem bothered by the fact that we’ll have to give our children away because we won’t be able to afford them anymore. 🙁
At least he isn’t saying we could live with his parents. He doesn’t even want to tell his mom what’s going on because he knows she’ll flip out and demand that we live there with them. They only have two bedrooms free (one upstairs where theirs is and one downstairs with a bed that Jimmy’s dad used when he was growing up)and there’s no way in hell I’d live with them unless Jimmy wanted to become an orphan.
I have to go – I have a lot of stuff to do.
