103º yesterday. :(

Yes, it was 103º here yesterday. 🙁 No air conditioning either. Just fans. Yay. Jimmy said yesterday that if we had known we wouldn’t be living in the old apartment that long we wouldn’t have worried about getting the heat pump fixed and that we hope whoever’s living there is enjoying all our hard work. 🙁 It’s 64º right now though. 🙂

I told Jimmy two days ago and again yesterday that we were almost out of formula and bottle liners but did he go get more? NO. Now we’re completely out of formula, almost out of bottle liners, not much money in the bank and I don’t feel like dragging all the kids to the store (Fred Meyer’s now, since Hank’s is now Grande Foods with nothing in it but Mexican stuff. I don’t feel like trying to translate my groceries, thanks)especially since they tend to fight the whole way there and makes it take forever to walk to the store. Plus it takes forever to get them ready. I’d have to brush Amelia’s hair and get it up in a ponytail and she squirms too much, get everyone dressed, drag the dual stroller down the stairs one at a time, open it up downstairs, go back upstairs, get Jocelyn, go back downstairs, put her in the stroller, go back upstairs and get Amelia, carry her down the stairs (she’s terrified of them and won’t go down alone), put her in the stroller, go back upstairs, get Wesley and Christopher, get my purse, go downstairs, make sure I have a blanket to shield Jocelyn from the sun, walk all the way to Fred Meyer’s, buy formula (Safeway sells it for about $15 but does Jimmy go there? NO. He has to buy the $20-25 kind), bottle liners, pay for it (and hope we have enough in the bank for it)then walk home. I seriously don’t want to go through that hell but I don’t want to have to call his parents and have them come out here. I told Jimmy to buy two cans of formula when he gets more but he never listens. He only got one can and I told him it wasn’t enough but he doesn’t listen. Now I have to feed her just baby food and baby cereal. I’ve paged him but he hasn’t called me back. We’re out of bread, almost out of cereal, out of formula, almost out of bottle liners, need more wipes… Basically, I have practically nothing to feed the kids for breakfast or lunch. We have fish sticks but not for breakfast. Jimmy refuses to get the kids breakfast in the morning, even though I’ve offered to pour the cereal in the bowls, get the spoons next to them so in the morning all he’d have to do is pour the milk. He says he doesn’t have time – make time, damn it! He never cleans off his knives after he makes himself a sandwich so I’m the one who has to clean peanut butter and jelly of knives, Nutella off knives… He pisses me off.  grrr

I need to go. Jocelyn’s baby food won’t feed itself to her.  mom and baby
