World Autism day!
It is world Autism day!
The statstics now state that 1 in 88 children have Autism, 1 in 83 children in my state do.
I have one child with it. Yes, she has her moments, but she is the most amazing little girl I have met.
You know no one who has met her beleives me she has it. They think of Temple Grandin, or they think of the mute child in the corner rocking or flapping their hands. I have learned something. If you know a child with autism, you know 1 child. There seems to be nothing that is consistant in behavior.
I know she has it, the doctors, and therapist, and those who live with her, even her teacher all see the differences and struggles but the struggles make her who she is. In girls it looks very different.
My daughter has autism.
But my daugther is beautiful, and smart, and affectionate, and bright, and inquisitive, and relsilent, and simply amazing.
I would never wish she didn’t have this. I wish she didn’t struggle as much, but that’s about all. I also wish the insurance comapnies would help more.(and I have awesome insurance!) the news was saying even with all of these children with this it is the parents footing the bill. The insurance contributes very little of none at all.
I love my little girl, she has taught me more than I could have ever imagined.

His whatever did say it was honorable, though, so that’s good. I just don’t like change… and now they have him appts made into May… and I’m like ???!!
