I have been to l& D twice in the past 2 days.

I hurt and am having frequent contractions. Apparenly it is doing something, I went from 0-1 overnight.

The pain they think is that my stomach is getting too big,and the muscles are screaming at me.

All I know is it hurts worse than labor pains.

It is so frustrating to know that I have weeks more of this. If I weren’t pregnant and presented with pain of this nature they would have given me medicine like an anti-inflmatory or muscle relaxer or something. But nope, since I am pregnant very pregnant I am told to just tough it out.

I am frustrated, I am not ready to have this baby, but the debilitating pain is making it near impossible for me to walk as well.

There is no balance. I liked the nurse today, she was empathetic at least. She feels bad because she knows how much pain I am in and knows there is nothing she can do.

Travis is not so much. He is such a man.

Oh lord! That sounds awful. Maybe a chiropractor could help??

Can you take anything OTC at least? That seems weird to me. I have friends who have been told at the beginning of a pregnancy that a medicine (not sure what kind, though) isn’t safe in the first so many weeks or months but that they can take it after a certain point because it is no longer harmful to the baby. Must be some that go both ways. I hope the pain eases up. 🙁

Call your OB/mid-wife. You can take something for pain. If anything, they can do a shot of nubain or Demerol just like when you are actually in labor. Just research and ask for specifics.

Maybe soaking in the tub with Epsom salt might help… or rubbing your nuclear down with icy hot.

With the economy being questionable… there is talk that some government jobs are on a hiring freeze. Not sure if Jcn City is one… if it is I wish they’d be up front about it now instead of stringing me along…
