Invites & functions of marrige

So, I made and sent the invites even though I thought it was stupid. Like really stupid. I even checked with the party store who does weddings, and they have never even heard of them. Never mind I thought they turned out nicely.

All of them have a conversation starter on them and I asked the guests to bring them with.

This whole thing costs too too much, I am working on my toast, It shall be different, just like me. 

So, new input needed, what are the functions of marriage? Like medical, social, psycho, functions of marriage. I have things like disease control on my list so far.
